Paul Bear Bryant

Paul Bear Bryant Paul William "Bear" Bryant was an American college football player and coach. He was best known as the longtime head coach of the University of Alabama football team. During his 20-year tenure as Alabama's head coach he amassed sic national championships and thirteen conference championship upon his retirement in 1982 he held the record for most wins as head coach in collegiate football history with 323 wins.

Duties and Responsibilities: Performs industrial hygiene filed measurements and safety evaluations.

 Assesses work place for occupational health hazards by observing work conditions, assessing records, conducting interviews, sampling, and monitoring chemical or physical agents.

 Determines appropriate monitoring and sampling strategies, if indicated, and conducts these activities.

 Maintains, operates, and calibrates a variety of sampling and monitoring equipment.

Salary: $40,000 - $60,000

Education: Students should take challenging college preparatory courses, especially in mathematics and science, during high school. 

A career in industrial hygiene requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in occupational health and safety, environmental health engineering, or the physical sciences.  Many jobs require certification and/or a Master's Degree in these, or related, fields.  Certification requires successful completion of the American Board of Industrial Hygiene examination.

Reflection: No I would like not to become a Industrial Hygienist because I like the technical field.

Duties and Responsibilities: Monitors patient condition by observing physical and mental condition, intake and output, and exercise.

Supports patients by providing housekeeping and laundry services; shopping for food and other household requirements; preparing and serving meals and snacks; running errands.

Assists patients by providing personal services, such as, bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Helps patients care for themselves by teaching use of cane or walker, special utensils to eat, special techniques and equipment for personal hygiene.

Salary: $8,000-$18,000

Education: There is no standardized educational requirement for HHAs. In some states, not even a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Other states require HHAs to take preparation classes (usually offered at community colleges or vocational/technical schools) before they begin working.

Duties and Responsibilities: Focus on how to plan, coordinate and oversee the effective and efficient delivery of health care. Health care providers are interested in how to deliver care to patients to get them back into good health. The Health Care Administrator is interested in how that care can be delivered in a way that is healthy for the facility or department.

Salary: $85,860-$96,000

Education: The healthcare administrator job description includes a master’s degree in one of a number of fields for most generalist positions as a medical or health care manager. A bachelor’s degree is sometimes adequate for entry-level positions in smaller facilities and departments. In physicians’ offices and some other facilities, on-the-job experience may substitute for formal education.
