Duties and Responsibilities: Focus on how to plan, coordinate and oversee the effective and efficient delivery of health care. Health care providers are interested in how to deliver care to patients to get them back into good health. The Health Care Administrator is interested in how that care can be delivered in a way that is healthy for the facility or department.

Salary: $85,860-$96,000

Education:
The healthcare administrator job description includes a master’s degree in one of a number of fields for most generalist positions as a medical or health care manager. A bachelor’s degree is sometimes adequate for entry-level positions in smaller facilities and departments. In physicians’ offices and some other facilities, on-the-job experience may substitute for formal education.

Histology Specialists include both Histologic Technicians and Histologists.  Histologists are also referred to as Histotechnologists.  Both histologic technicians and histologists prepare tissue samples that are used by physicians to determine if a patient has a disease, dysfunction, or malignancy.

Reflection: No I don’t think I would like to become a histology specialist because am more interested in technology

Education:
Most health information specialists, also known as medical records and health information technicians, enter the field with an associate's degree, A bachelor's or master's degree may be required to advance in the field of health information management Typical courses in an associate's degree program include medical terminology, information technology, pharmacology, medical coding, statistics, quality assurance, anatomy, physiology, ethics and psychology.

No I don’t want to be a health information specialist because I don’t like the medical field.

Health educators provide information on health and health related issues. They can assess health training needs and plan health education programs. They may specialize according to specific health concerns, illnesses, or work or training setting. Health educators may work as independent consultants or in health departments, community organizations, businesses, hospitals, schools, or government agencies. Health Educators often:
·       Perform health training needs assessment .
·       Design and develop health education programs.
·       Publish health education materials, information papers, and grant proposals .
·       Develop health education curriculum.
·       Teach health in public and private schools.
Average Salary: $20,000-$35,000
Educational Requirements:
Students should take college preparatory courses during high school.
Health educators have, as a minimum, a bachelor’s degree in health education. Many have master’s degrees. To be certified or licensed to teach health in public schools requires a master’s degree and successful completion of a written exam in many states.
